Mahboubeh Abbasgholizadeh, a women’s rights activist, was arrested yesterday on her way to Qom to participate in Ayatollah Montazeri's funeral ceremony (Iranian Grand Ayatollah Montazeri passed away yesterday morning). Abbasgholizadeh was accompanied by other human rights activists as well as the families of political detainees.
The Iranian Intelligent Service and Security Police stopped the group and questioned them for 45 minutes. Although most of them were released shortly, there is still no news about Mahboubeh Abbasgholizadeh, Shiva Nazarahary, Koohyar Goodarzi, and Saeed Kalanaki.

Shiva Nazarahari and Koohyar Goodarzi are also human rights activists. Nazarahari was also arrested in July 2009 and was detained for 3 months for her activities. She was in solitary confinement for 33 days.
